Measure the stone areas. That square footage is your number.
pH-neutral products, and no acid on stone ever
The single most important thing on this site, and the reason a stone floor needs a different company from a tile floor.
Acid etches marble, travertine and limestone on contact. Not over time, not with repeated exposure. On contact. It dissolves the calcium carbonate the stone is made of, and what you are left with is a dull patch where the surface used to be.
That damage does not undo. Cleaning will not lift it, sealer will not hide it, and the only route back is honing and polishing with diamond pads, which is refinishing work.
We use pH-neutral, stone-safe products. There is no version of this job where an acidic cleaner touches your floor.
It is worth asking anybody you get a quote from what they use, and treating vagueness as an answer. A great deal of the etching we find on Scottsdale stone was put there by somebody who cleaned it.
Stone needs a different company from tile
Most hard surface cleaners treat every floor the same, and on stone that is how permanent damage happens.
The product that shifts hard water off ceramic will etch travertine on contact. Not gradually. On contact. A company using a single acidic product across every job will get excellent results on your neighbor's porcelain and destroy your marble in the same afternoon.
So we identify the stone first, every time, and use pH-neutral products throughout. There is no version of this job where an acidic cleaner touches your floor, and it is worth asking anybody else you get a quote from exactly what they use.

What we do not do
No refinishing. Honing and polishing with diamond pads is a genuine skill and a different trade. When your floor needs a refinisher rather than a cleaner, we will say so and lose the job.
No claiming etching will come out. It will not. Every etch gets pointed out during the walkthrough with a clear statement that it is staying. Full explanation.
No sealing over soil. Cleaning always comes first, because sealing over dirt traps it under the coating rather than protecting anything. That is why these are priced as tiers rather than sealing offered alone.
No pushing a higher tier. If clear seal is what your stone needs, we will not sell you color enhancing. We test a section and let you compare before you decide, and a fair proportion of people choose the cheaper option after looking.
The test area, and why it costs us money
On any floor where color enhancing is a possibility, we clean a section and enhance part of it, then leave an untouched area beside both.
You look at three things together: as it is, cleaned, and cleaned plus enhanced. That answers the question faster and more honestly than anything we could tell you, and about a third of the time people look and choose clear seal.
Nobody should buy the most expensive tier without seeing what the cheaper one actually achieves on their own stone.
